The Village at Avondale is ideally located, with close proximity to the fantastic restaurants, retail and community happenings in downtown Decatur and Avondale Estates, as well as Emory University, the CDC, Dekalb Medical Center and Agnes Scott College. What’s more, Downtown Atlanta and the Buckhead Business District are easy surface street drives of approximately 8-miles and 9-miles respectively.

We’re located less than one mile from the Memorial Drive exit (Exit 41) on Interstate 285, so travel south to the airport or north to the Central Perimeter Area is a snap, usually taking less than 30 minutes. The Village at Avondale’s mailing address is Avondale Estates, but we are not part of the city and do not pay city of Avondale Estates taxes. As such, our municipal services are from Dekalb County.
